you could of fisted mikes MS3 block.... he had CAI & TBE, tossed a rod getting on the highway.... the MS3 is a pile of garbage and i would take the GLI over it anyday, i'd rather have the VW than a SRT4 as well. the tranny is awesome as big country mentioned. paddle shifters!!! it may be lacking some HP from the factory but a FMIC, TBE, CAI and a tune makes it run real nice! right under 300 ponies... plus you will have a interior that is amazing and all the wonderful gadgets and options. The handling on it is only rivaled by the AWD cars and even then its not that far off.

If i buy another FWD it will most likely be a VW Jetta GLI. But, i really want the next car to be RWD.
