I had a fashion show last night at The Stable Brewery (Cherokee St) and then I heard somebody was talking about five cars got broken into and one of them was Super Bee. Yup.. I ran to there and saw two cops waiting for all car/truck owners. Apparently the car and the key alarm went off but nobody heard it.
The burglar(s) smashed out the driver's door window. As of now I can't think of anything missing..
I just need some suggestions of good deal shops that I can bring my Super Bee to be repaired :(

Thank you guys,
Emma

Custom fit it with hidden cams and mic's.

And carry a gun and a new alarm so it will tell u when something is wrong... Run to the car when the break in occures and shoot the Fucker! Last time he will break in to your s**t.

Wow, that really sucks. You need to buy a cheap pos car to drive everyday and keep the srt8 put up for weekend/fun only. What all is damaged, just the glass? Paint scratch? Interior? What area do you live in? Someone else there may be able to give you some local shops they have used.

I live in St. Charles nearby Caulks Hill Rd area. So far just the glass that I can see (Hopefully that's it) I'll inspect more coz last night I was too tired after cleaning the glass pieces.
Yes it sucks :( coz I work mainly at downtown St. Louis area and some are evening time.

With enough money u can buy anything. Pen hole cams are becoming more and more popular for nany cams so im sure if we can do a little research someone here can do the custom wiring or we can find a shop that can.

Sorry to hear your Charger was broken into again. It sucks and makes you feel violated. I wouldn't know of any shops up in your area to repair your car, but if you are turning it in to insurance, you can always consider taking it back to the dealer's repair shop. Just a suggestion. They aren't always the best available though.

The unfortunate part about car break ins today is it does not matter how fancy of a system you put on your car, if the thief thinks you may have something of value in your car, they are going to break in. Most are prepared for an alarm to go off and will be in and out by the time anybody could react anyway. Especially considering most alarms are just ignored. The hidden cameras suggestion could potentially help you identify the thief. Catching them is another thing entirely. For the money you would pay installing an elaborate system you could probably come close to just buying a beater to drive.

sorry to hear about the break-in :(

my suggestion would also be to get a cheap car to drive if your situation allows. That way when you know you are going to be in a sketchy neighborhood, you can leave the SRT8 at home. Like BC said, you can spend thousands of dollars on all the security measures, but what is it really going to accomplish?

I know of a great shop out here in High Ridge, but it's probably further than you'd want to drive. If you want the name though, just PM me.

alarms are a waste of money. i use to install them years ago. my brother had a real fancy code alarm with paging and s**t on it. alarm was triggered and wouldn't disengage. he called me up and i drove out to where he was and deactivated the alarm in seconds. he then said wow, its that easy to bypass a alarm? yes, yes it is. and that was the do it the right way not to damage anything, told him I'd pull and unplug his stereo in under 25 seconds without breaking or scratching anything in the car as well. so if you want security hes what i recommend:

1. don't lock your doors, means they will break the glass and it cost more to fix now.
2. if you have a nice stereo take some real nice glue and glue straight razor blades to the back of it so when a thief grabs it to pop the brackets and steal it he gets what he deserves instead.
3. amps and subs - when bolting them down always countersink your screws then fill the screw head in with solder. makes it very difficult to remove it with any speed at all.
4. when parking your car out in public don't pull in somewhere with a stereo blaring, engine revving bs. it draws attention to it and you don't want that kind of attention.
5. and last but not least skip the product decals!!! its like a damn part list for a thief!

Sorry you had this happen but nice cars in that neighborhood... kinda expected i would buy a cheap 1000 dollar car to drive to work to prevent further problems with it.
